Here are five tattoo studios in Vietnam to help get your search started.
Saigon Ink
Saigon Ink is one of the leading tattoo studios in Vietnam and has been open since the mid-2000s.
In 2019, Saigon Ink expanded into District 2 with the opening of a new studio and art space, along with a bar and restaurant called Saigon drInk.
Founder, Danis Nguyen, organised the first annual Saigon Tattoo Expo in 2018 and is a member of the Top 100 most influential tattoo artists in the world, featured in The World Atlas of Tattoo Book published in 2015.

Founded by Hoang Maskow, Tattoo You is another famous tattoo studio worth its salt.
If you find yourself on the table at Tattoo You with the man himself, then you know you’re in good hands.

Toma Kiet Tattoo
Toma Kiet, the man behind this studio, came to Saigon as a 15 year old to follow his dream of becoming a tattoo artist.
At that time, tattoos weren’t nearly as popular or as accepted as they are today.
He stuck at it and now in his 30s, he’s become well-known for his work, especially for his Japanese-style artwork.

VNStyle Tattoo & Piercing
Pham Mai is the face and artist behind this hugely popular studio.
Mai is a celebrity in her own right and often appears in photo shoots and videos with her equally, heavily-inked husband (also a tattoo artist) by her side.

Thanh Tattoo Long An
These guys are fast building a name for themselves locally and internationally, especially since winning Best in Big Piece (Colour) and coming runner-up in Best in Ornamental, Maori, Mandala, Geometric & Dotwork at the 2018 Saigon Tattoo Expo.
They are based in Long An, just south-west of Saigon, but going by the look of their work, it might just be well worth the trip out of town.
