EATING VIETNAM | The Khmer version of Banh Khot you’ve probably never tried before

Whoever discovered that coconut milk, chili, fish sauce and oily fried rice cakes go together deserves a Michelin star!

Genius!

And thank God we’ve now discovered it, too!

Ms Tuyết has been frying up these little flavour bombs from the Mekong Delta in this location for at least 20 years and has earned an enviable reputation for her delightful little rice cakes (also known as bánh khọt) that stray from the usual Vũng Tàu style you’re probably more familiar with.

Also, our Vietnamese friend, Loan, (unbelievably) tries bánh khọt for the very first time!

Rất ngon!
