In this episode of Ticket To Ride, Matt jumps on the ferry to Vũng Tàu after hearing about the whale temple where fisherfolk go to pay their respects to whales that have washed up on the local beaches.
According to Vietnamese folklore, whales are the protectors of fishermen and their families and, therefore, bestow upon them good luck.
