Subsonic – one of the most exciting boutique music and art festivals in the Asia-Pacific region, will be back at the picturesque banks of the Karuah River close to Sydney, this Dec. 6 to 92019!
The festival will bring an explosive line-up of international superstars, such as RICARDO VILLALOBOS, DERRICK MAY, HELENA HAUFF, CRAIG RICHARDS, CRISTI CONS, MATHEW JONSON, MARGARET DYGAS, OLIVER HUNTEMANN, SONJA MOONEAR, YOUNG MARCO and many more!
They will be accompanied by top-notch names from various electronic and live music genres, as well as the best local talents.
More than 170 acts will be bringing their rolling sound across five creatively designed stages, in an immersive and multi-sensory green environment far from the city.
In addition to the incredible artist roster, attendees should expect mind-bending performance arts, state-of-the-art light projections, thought-provoking workshops and installations, as well as the luxury campgrounds and amenities.
Furthermore, Subsonic is committed to creating the most sustainable event possible with planned initiatives yearly.
For this edition, Subsonic will be partnering with one of the worlds’ best clubs – Fabric London, for an incredible showcase to celebrate their 20 year anniversary, dubbed “Fabric XX’.
This night will be headlined by a legendary minimal tech veteran RICARDO VILLALOBOS, alongside Fabric founding resident CRAIG RICHARDS, music wizard MATHEW JONSON (live), Perlon’s lady MARGARET DYGAS and Fabric’s resident BOBBY.
Subsonic will also host performances from the likes of the techno icon DERRICK MAY, techno lady HELENA HAUFF, super-duo AUDIOFLY, Fuse London’s ARCHIE HAMILTON, Romanian master CRISTI CONS, Swiss queen SONJA MOONEAR, Tokyo’s QUE SAKAMOTO and many more.
Bass music lovers will enjoy the River Stage, headlined by DJ VADIM and his funky fusion and New Zealand’s artist TRUTH.
The El Stompo stage that glides from Sunday afternoon glitch-hop/funk to progressive techno and psychedelic trance, will welcome the likes of PERFECT STRANGER – papa of prog trance, techno mogul BREGER, psychedelic sorcerer FABIO LEAL and progressive techno GABRIEL MORAES, alongside a huge array of locals from the entire east coast of Australia.
Subsonic Village will welcome some of Australia’s most respected electronic dance outfits and live bands, such as THE BIRD and their dynamic performance, TIJUANA CARTEL’s tasty mix of world music and club beats and TRUE VIBENATION’s blend of soul and afrobeat.
