A little piece of Paris is set to come to Saigon with the opening on Oct.24 of the new flagship Brodard Restaurant – Tea House – Pastry on Dong Khoi Street in the heart of downtown.
The much beloved Brodard Bakery has been producing high-quality baked goods in Vietnam since 1948.
The new flagship Brodard has an extensive menu featuring a wide selection of specialty breads, pastries, as well as cookies and cakes.
In addition, there is a range of coffees, specialty teas, juices, smoothies and ice-creams. Prices at the bakery range from VND48,000++ to VND98,000++.
The ground floor patisserie will feature home-made pastries and chocolates, and coffee by Perfetto Caffe.
The centrepiece of the venue is a stunning open pastry kitchen.
The new location will also introduce ‘The delights of France in the heart of Saigon’ with a traditional brasserie including an extensive list of French wines on the first floor.
Classic French dishes on the menu will include Bouillabaisse of slow-cooked seafood; Lamb bourguignon with organic carrot and onion; Lobster thermidor with organic greens; and Poached eggs with foie-gras, asparagus and truffles.
Breakfast at Brodard Restaurant – Tea House – Pastry starts from just VND68,000++, starters on the dinner menu range between VND158,000++ to VND398,000++, and the main courses from VND198,000++.
Mr. Kai Speth, Vice President Operations and Business Performance of WMC Group, which operates Brodard, said the Restaurant and Tea House & Pastry evoked the French heritage of Saigon.
“The Brodard name has been synonymous with quality for decades, and with its prime location on Dong Khoi Street it will be sure to become an essential destination,” he said.
The elegant colonial-era facade of the building has been fully restored, while the interior is style personified with black and white marble tile floors and chandeliers hanging from the vaulted ceilings.
As a special opening promotion, guests of Brodard Restaurant – Tea House – Pastry will receive 20% off their bill until Nov.10.
