Cadel Evans To Ride Coupe De Hue 2019

It’s been confirmed that former Australian professional racing cyclist Cadel Evans will be taking part in this year’s Coupe De Hue in September.

Evans, who became the first Australian to win the UCI Pro Tour in 2007 and the UCI Road World Championships in 2009, famously took out the Tour de France in 2011 and became the second of just two non-Europeans to have won it.

The announcement will give the Coup De Hue a massive boost with Evans’ presence certain to draw a lot of local and international attention to the fledgling event in just its second year after a successful inaugural event in 2018.

More on Cadel Evans’ announcement to come.
