Rabbit Hole

Welcome to Wonderland

Rabbit Hole was founded by a young, local advertising executive who has turned his dream of owning an avant-garde cocktail bar into reality. It’s classy and underground, well kind of, it’s at basement level under a ground floor Vietnamese restaurant just minutes on-foot from Reunification Palace. Truth be told, it does feel a bit “warren-ish.”

Perfect for pre- or post-dinner drinks, Rabbit Hole serves up high-quality cocktails, some of the best in Saigon, in fact, with its signature cocktails curated to fit its Alice in Wonderland concept.

The floral Rabbit’s Gin Fizz — a twist on the famous Ramos Gin Fizz — is made using butterfly pea, chamomile-infused gin, lemon, lime, egg white and Lebanese orange blossom water.

Some of Rabbit Hole’s bartenders, including top dog Peter Nguyen, have worked in many of Asia’s and Europe’s best-known cocktail lounges, including Mr Fogg’s Residence in London.

Rabbit Hole does a great Sazerac, but try their Amaretto Sour, a cocktail made from Amaretto liqueur, simple syrup and lemon juice with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry — you’ll be pleasantly surprised. This is the benchmark for where Saigon’s cocktail scene is at.

Good luck digging your way out of this den.

Rabbit Hole is at 138 Nam Ki Khoi Nghia, District 1, HCMC
