Kumquat Mojito

Not despacito, it’s a mojito! 




Serving 1

35 ml light rum

15 ml dark rum

3 bar spoons of brown sugar 

15 mint leaves 

4 pieces of kumquat

1 bar spoon of kumquat jam and soda to fill up

Garnish: mint, slice of orange



1. In a Collins glass, muddle kumquat juice with brown sugar and kumquat jam

2. Add mint leaves, mushing them against the side of the glass

3. Fill glass 2/3 of the way up, add crushed ice

4. Pour in the rum

5. Pitch in the kumquat skins and top off with soda

Glassware: Collins glass, mug
